Many of our services are free to the public (communities of Cornwall) and are paid for by our project funders. CRCC also offers specialist services that can be purchased at affordable rates.
A significant event in 2016 was the bringing together of CRCC with Penwith Community Development Trust (PCDT) a similar organisation based in Penzance.

Peter Jefferson, our Chief Executive, had served 25 years as a commissioned officer in the Royal Navy before joining the CRCC in 2009.
The origins of Cornwall Rural Community Charity are preceded by the establishment of the Oxfordshire Rural Community Council, the first in the country, by Grace Hadow in 1920.
CRCC’s mission is to enable Cornish communities to be vibrant, sustainable and inclusive.
CRCC is overseen by a board of 12 trustees, with Karlene Stokes appointed Chair in Oct 2017.
Colonel Edward Bolitho was born in Penzance and after school and university, joined the Army, serving with Grenadier Guards for 20 years throughout the world.
