Full details of our Social Inclusion Conference, held in October 2006, are available by following this link. The aim was to highlight examples of best practice in dealing with Social Inclusion and to provide an opportunity to network with colleagues with similar interests. The conference was also a celebration of CRCC’s 60th Anniversary and enabled the CRCC to showcase a few examples of the best of recent work.

This summarised report has been produced as a result of a User Needs and Evaluation Survey, plus Stakeholder telephone interviews that CRCC undertook towards the end of 2006. It was decided to undertake such a process as part of the Business Plan review as well as to assist in work on Acre Quality Standards.

‘Social Enterprise in Cornwall’ is a new 30 page guide published by Cornwall Rural Community Council with 14 local case studies and an explanation of what social enterprises are, how to go about establishing one and where to get more help.
