Partnership between CRCC, ECCVS and PCDT
Cornwall Rural Community Council (CRCC), East Cornwall Council for Voluntary Service (ECCVS) and Penwith Community Development Trust (PCDT) have formed an official partnership to be known as Cornwall Community Action (CCA). The formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which sets out their common principles and objectives has formalised the traditionally strong links between these organisations.
By working together specialist skills, knowledge and the geographical spread will complement the services offered to Cornish communities. It will enable sharing of best practice and strengthen future bids for funds coming in to the county, therefore naturally becoming more effective and ultimately reaching more people.
Each organisation offers a variety of projects and services giving information, advice and guidance that helps boost and develop Cornish communities. Collectively, support is offered to people of all ages and for a range of reasons, whether they are vulnerable, socially excluded, in need of advice on setting up a local group or to access funding and also offer volunteering opportunities and training.
