The Carers Carol Service, organised by Cornwall Rural Community Council (CRCC) will be held in Truro Cathedral on Monday 7 December at 2pm. Everyone is welcome to come along to the service and to join us afterwards in the Cathedral restaurant for refreshments.

In Cornwall alone, there are estimated to be 55,000 carers, who look after a partner, relative, friend or neighbour who, due to their illness or disability, would not remain independent in their own homes without their support.

Monica Thomas, Carers Support Manager for CRCC, who has been involved with these events for more than 10 years says “The Carers Carol Service celebrates the valuable contribution carers make in the support they give to so many people throughout the county, it’s always a lovely service, which this year includes St Hilary School Choir”.
