The CRCC (Cornwall Rural Community Council) is taking over what used to be the Coodes Solicitor’s offices 2 Princes Street.
The Store is the Core is a new scheme, supported by the South West Regional Development Agency, which offers professional advice to village retailers. The objective is to improve their skills, diversify their businesses, and help secure their viability for the future.
NAVCA (the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action) to deliver an “Empowering the Voluntary Sector” workshop in conjunction with CRCC (Cornwall Rural Community Council) in Bodmin on 10th April 2008
‘Social Enterprise in Cornwall’ is a new 30 page guide published by Cornwall Rural Community Council with 14 local case studies and an explanation of what social enterprises are, how to go about establishing one and where to get more help.

The Young Carers Service has recruited a befriender to support young people throughout Cornwall between the ages of 5 and 11 years old who care for a family member.

Following the launch in April 2007 of the Community Enterprise service, Cornwall Rural Community Council (CRCC) now invites community businesses, otherwise known as social enterprises in Cornwall to apply for a Development Grant of up to £1000.

The Cornwall Rural Community Council’s (CRCC) Young Carers Project celebrates its 10th anniversary this year with a sky jump.
This summarised report has been produced as a result of a User Needs and Evaluation Survey, plus Stakeholder telephone interviews that CRCC undertook towards the end of 2006.
This is a unique opportunity to gain new skills, receive training and provide a listening ear to those in distress, whilst working in the comfort of your own home.
