Cornwall Infrastructure Partnership (CIP) was formed in 2002. It is a group of charities who work together to support other, generally smaller, charities. They meet once a month to discuss partnership working and joint ventures.
CIP has received the majority of its funding from Capacity Builders. Partners have also received funding from the Local Area Agreement and the Big Lottery Fund for their work.
The CRCC acts as the lead partner for CIP in its dealings with Capacity Builders, the national agency set up to oversee the Government's ten year plan to improve conditions within the voluntary sector. It is also responsible for administering the finances of the Community Empowerment outcome in the Local Area Agreement.
CRCC are involved in delivering many of the strands of work contained within the CIP Business Plan making sure that we achieve a real change in the quality of our collective services to the rest of the local voluntary sector.
