Aims

To provide support to adult carers throughout Cornwall.

Objectives

  • To provide information on existing and new services to carers, in particular for carers who may have special requirements, for example, their ethnicity, lifestyle or health issues.
  • To continue to forge new links and improve communication channels between statutory and voluntary organisations.
  • To consult with carers on the effectiveness of the service.
  • To ensure close partnership working with the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Primary Care Trust and Adult Care and Support who jointly fund the Carers’ Support Service.
